About the Masterclass
Photography can do far more than create beautiful images. It can document lived experience, preserve cultural heritage, support oral history, strengthen community archives and record social change.
In this masterclass, photographer, anthropologist and researcher Michi Masumi shares her approach to documentary photography as both a creative practice and a research methodology.
Drawing on real community projects, participants will learn how photography can become a powerful tool for storytelling, heritage preservation and ethical community engagement.
You'll learn.
